The management committee is currently working on the development of a formal educational curriculum to meet the standards of and to link with the Northern Territory curriculum framework.

 

That curriculum framework will reflect much of the current content available to schools where outdoor activity and environmental education crosses the boundaries in many areas.

 

The Hamilton Downs Youth Camp curator and manager, with many years teaching experience in the Northern Territory can assist you in planning activities for your class to suit the requirements and needs.

 

Many of the activities we currently have plans available for include sciences, technologies, health, land care, ecology, agriculture, horticulture, Aboriginal   studies, orienteering and group development.
